Charlotte Vivian Olson

    Charlotte Vivian Olson, 90, of Silver Bay, MN, died October 2, 2026.  She formerly resided in Odin, MN. Visitation will be held at noon on Friday, October 9, 2026, at the Trimont Covenant Church in Trimont, MN. The service will follow at 1:00 p.m.  Burial will be held in Cedar Hill Cemetery following the service. The Kramer Family Funeral Home of Trimont, Sherburn, and Welcome, MN, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Charlotte was born February 6, 1936, in Wakonda, South Dakota, to John and Mabel (Fisher) Shuff. She graduated from Little Falls High School (Mn) in 1953 and worked in the high school office until her marriage to Richard N. Olson in January 1955, when she moved to Odin, Mn. Charlotte was a teacher’s aide at Odin Elementary School for three years, Odin city clerk for 20 years and city treasurer, and an employee of the Odin State Bank for nearly 17 years. 
Charlotte was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Trimont, MN, where she served as a Sunday school teacher, deaconess, and board secretary. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, quilting, and time with friends. She loved going up north to her son Terry’s place to pick wild blueberries, which she shared with family and friends. 
She is survived by her son Steven (Terese) Olson of Ann Arbor, Michigan; son Terry Olson of Finland, Minnesota; daughter Beth Olson of Houston, Texas; and grandchildren Sara (Matt) Olson and Daniel (Sarah) Olson. Special friends include Troy, Sammy, and Katie Kluver and Elaine Anderson. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents; brothers John, Roger, Robert, Arthur, Glenn, Donald, and Aaron Shuff; sisters Dorothy Kerr and Bonnie Glover; and special friends Sue Kluver and Eunice Erickson.
