Jeremy Michael Moore was born on December 21, 1982, to Greg and Deb (Carlock) Moore, in San Diego, California. His family later moved to Blue Earth, Minnesota, where he grew up and graduated from Blue Earth High School with the class of 2001.
After graduation, Jeremy attended MN West in Jackson, Minnesota, and started his lifelong career at Railway Motors, Fairmont Tamper, and later Harsco Rail in Fairmont. He was proud of working his way up from a draftsman to a design engineer.
Jeremy was united in marriage to Stephanie Morris on June 11, 2011, at the Sherburn Movie Theatre, the same place they had their first date. They were blessed with two children, Xzavier and Izabelle.
Jeremy was multi-talented, with a wide variety of knowledge and fun facts that were always ready to share with family and friends. He was a walking encyclopedia. He enjoyed drawing, leather work, and woodcarving, along with gardening and yard work. He loved camping and sitting around the campfire with friends, spending time with his children, and traveling with Stephanie. He enjoyed designing with CAD, fishing, watching UFC and Chargers football, and
grilling. He also served as co-director of the Sherburn 5K and 10K.
Jeremy loved music of all kinds, from Bob Marley to Breaking Benjamin, 90s rap, and 70s and 80s classics. He also enjoyed a good ‘doobie’ now and then. He loved reading about the earth, nature, and astronomy, and was an avid documentary watcher, especially anything on U.S. history or the natural world. He liked hanging out with his chickens and playing with his dogs.
For Jeremy, quality time was never really about the conversation. It was about spending time with the people he loved, often with nothing but nature or good music filling the quiet.
Jeremy will forever be remembered by his wife, Stephanie; son, Xzavier; daughter, Izabelle; mother, Deb Moore; sister, Amber (Riley) Dittes; father, Greg (Linda) Moore; grandma, Marcia Miller; grandma Jo; in-laws, Julie and John Schaefer; sisters-in-law, Brittney Morris and Chelsey (Ben) Danielson; nieces, nephews, and many more family and friends.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandmother, Irene Mittelstadt, grandfather, Bill Carock; father-in-law, Roger Morris; and other loved ones., age 43, of Sherburn, MN, and formerly of Blue Earth, MN,
