Lauretta M. Krahmer

A Graveside Service for Lauretta M. Krahmer, age 94, of Sherburn, MN will be held at 11:00
a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Sherburn Cemetery. Lauretta passed away Thursday
afternoon, April 9, 2026, at the Good Samaritan Society in Estherville, IA. The Kramer Funeral
Home of Welcome, Sherburn, and Trimont, MN, is assisting the family with arrangements. 
            Lauretta Marie Weseman was born on July 16, 1931, to Louis and Nina (Kelsey)
Weseman in Hollandale, MN. She received her education from Sherburn Public School.
            Lauretta was united in marriage to Richard Haase in Sherburn. This union was blessed
with seven children, Rick, Teresa, Cynthia, Sharon, Julie, Jan and Carla. The family lived in
several places as Richard was in the military and eventually made their home back in Sherburn.
Richard passed away on December 29, 1973.
            On June 18, 1977, Lauretta was united in marriage to Roy Krahmer in Sioux Falls, SD. 
After their marriage, they lived in Sherburn. Lauretta kept busy being a housewife and taking
care of her children. She also worked at various cleaning jobs including Interstate Power and
Wenberg Street Café. Lauretta enjoyed cats and doing word searches.
            Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Rick (Becky) Haase of Estherville, IA;
many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; stepsister, Ruth Poltz of
Jackson, MN; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
            She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Nina Weseman; two husbands,
Richard Haase and Roy Krahmer; six daughters, Teresa Beaulieu, Cynthia Menssen, Sharon
McNicol, Julie Cass, Jan Loughton and Carla Rosa; several siblings and stepsiblings.
