GRANADA: Steven Todd Schwager, 64, of Granada and formerly of Sherburn, Minnesota, passed away at his home in Granada on Saturday, December 13, 2025
Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2026 at the Kramer Funeral Home, (107 North Osborne St.) in Sherburn, Minnesota.
The Kramer Funeral Home of Sherburn, Trimont and Welcome, Minnesota is in charge of Steven’s arrangements.

Steven Todd Schwager was born on May 3, 1961 to Roger and Ardythe (Walters) Schwager at Trimont, Minnesota. He received his education in Sherburn Schools later graduating with the class of 1980 where he participated in football and basketball. Steve then attended Jackson Vocational School for Electric Motor Repair. He then moved to Sidney, Montana where he was employed in a motor shop and in the oil fields. Steve later moved to Willmar, Minnesota and worked in a motor shop there and met Deborah Hostetler and her son, Tom. Steve later worked with his dad in a battery rebuilding business. He then was employed as an Electrician at Fairmont Foods for 13 years until being employed for Cenex Harvest States at the Fairmont Soybean crush plant for 18 years until his retirement. Steve enjoyed going fishing and spending time with his grandkids and family.
He is survived by his sons, Nicholas “Nick” and Katelyn Schwager of Winnebago, Minnesota, stepson, Tom and Jamie Hostetler of Brainerd, Minnesota; grandchildren, Bryce and Ava Schwager, step grandchildren, Clayton, Lilianna, Thomas, Kloey; siblings, Mike (Linda) Schwager of rural Sherburn, Minnesota, Laurie Sukalski of Fairmont, Minnesota, Tim (Deb) Schwager of Sherburn, Minnesota; nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Ardythe Schwager; brother, Monty Schwager; brother-in-law, Stephen Sukalski and other relatives.
