Elaine Anderson

   TRIMONT: A Funeral Service for Elaine M. Anderson, 97, of Trimont, Minnesota will be 11:00
a.m., Friday, December 12, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church, (31 Main St. West) in Trimont, Minnesota with burial in Riverside Cemetery in Jackson, Minnesota.
     Elaine was called to her eternal rest on Thursday morning, December 4, 2025 at Windom Area Health in Windom, Minnesota. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Thursday, December 11, 2025 at the Kramer Funeral Home (71 2 nd Ave. S.E.) in Trimont and one hour prior to the services on Friday at the Church.
   The Kramer Family Funeral Home of Sherburn, Trimont and Welcome, Minnesota is in charge of Elaine’s arrangements.

Elaine Madelon Porisch was born on September 8, 1928 to Arthur A. and Erna (Uhlhorn) Porisch on a farm in Jackson County, Minnesota. She was baptized by her Grandpa, Reverend Johan Porisch on September 30, 1928 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Kimball Township, rural Jackson. She was instructed in Christian faith and confirmed on June 25, 1942. She attended a rural school through eighth grade, then graduated from Mountain Lake High School in 1946.
     On June 16, 1946, Elaine was united in marriage to Arnold A. Buck at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sherburn, Minnesota. They farmed for a short time, then moved into Alpha. She liked to garden and sew for her growing family. They raised seven children. Elaine worked with Arnold in sales and shingling. She had a job at Univac.
     Arnold died on August 18, 1974. On October 2, 1976, she was united in marriage to Harold A. Anderson at Trinity Lutheran Church in Alpha, Minnesota. They lived in Trimont, and she was happy to be part of his family and church. Over the years Elaine was active in many church activities; teaching Sunday School, VBS, and held various offices. She was also in sewing circle and secretary of their church for 16 years. She also worked with the elderly. Harold died on March 16, 2005. Elaine was very talented and made driftwood creations (Shoreline Sculptures) and made over a thousand wood toys that she gave to grandchildren and others or sold. She liked to fish and hunt, collect salt and pepper sets, knick knacks and to feed and watch the birds and loved to sing. The last three years she has had her Grandson, Toby Rave stay in her home. He has been her caregiver and good pal. Elaine (Grandma GG) is survived by her children, Corinne (Floyd) Green of Mountain Lake, MN, Marcella (Robert) Wall of Eagle River, AK, Cathy (Gene) Brunk of Brewster, MN, Arthur Buck and Judy Wagner of Butterfield, MN, Valerie Rave of Fairmont, MN and Teresa (Mark) Peters of Mountain Lake, MN; Harold’s children, Shirley (Mike) Krumweide of Oregon, Kenneth (Dorothy) Anderson of Texas, Richard Anderson and friend, Sherry of Janesville, MN, Carol (Tom) Meyer of Zumbrota, MN. There are 26 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, and many great great grands, and other relatives and friends. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Virgle Buck of Worthington, brother, Roger (Marlys) Porisch of Hoyt Lakes and Arizona and sister, Mary Gohr of Mountain Lake, MN.
  Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Erna Porisch; husbands, Arnold Buck and Harold A. Anderson; daughter, Linda Carlson; granddaughter, Connie Brunk and Angel Green; great granddaughter, Madison Nelson, and Jasmine Nelson; brothers, Richard Porisch and wife, Marie, and Kathy and Art Porisch and wife, Georgia, sisters, Mona Loof, her husband, Leslie Bottin and Marvin Loof, and Naomi Bottin and her husband, Willie; brother-in-law, Marvin Gohr and other relatives.
